Summer Bishil

 Summer Yasmine Bishil (born July 17th, 1988) is an American actress. Her first role was as Jasira in the 2007 film Towelhead. She received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for the Best Female Leading Actress. She had a few roles in TV series and films like The Last Airbender (2010), 90210 (2011) and Lucky 7 (2013). She was a part of Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians from 2015 to 2020.The September 11th 2001 terrorist attack caused her family to move back to the United States. She moved to San Diego with her family where she went to regular high school for one week. Her classmates weren't welcoming her back because of the tensions within the U.S. after 9/11. She said it was difficult to come home. The first day I went to school, I was called"a "whore" and was told that they believed my dad had funded terrorist activities. I knew that no one was ever going to want to be my friend there. I experienced panic attacks in the first year here."
